GAVIN MYBURGH
Owner | Organizer | Guide
Based in Vanderkloof. I have been giving guided tours since 2010. My passion is paddling which I have been doing for +-30 years achieving some gold and silver medals.
I enjoy the outdoors and love showing people the techniques of paddling and introducing them to nature at its best. One must always remain active, healthy and adventurous.

Moved to Vanderkloof 2 years ago to marry my adventure man “Gavin”. I have been paddling rivers since 2007, achieved a few gold, silver and bronze medals. Coming from Durban where the rivers are polluted its an absolute treat to be on clean unspoilt river, dam and riverbanks. I love the outdoors and adventure. I do the admin, advertising, organise and cater for the trips.

Guide
Based on a farm on the Orange river. I’ve spent a year at Mdumbi backpackers in the Transkei as a kayaking & hiking guide. My job was to keep clients entertained. I have my skipper licence and love going on Vanderkloof dam. My passion is water sports and cliff jumping. I’ve been kayaking & fishing since I was young. I study part time at Charis Bible college and contract work on my stepdad’s farm.

Guide
Based in Vanderkloof. Having opted out of a routine-dictated lifestyle in 1990, I have spent much of the past twenty eight years travelling and have notched up thirty five countries on four continents. My travel experiences include vast adventures that take place all over the world but have brought me to Vanderkloof where I have settled and joined Adventure Kayaking as a river guide.
GRAHAM SLADE
Driver
Retired to Vanderkloof. I am a mechanic by trade having worked all over South Africa. My passion is woodwork. I enjoy meeting people hence driving for Adventure Kayaking and taking the odd picture.
